A smaller counterpart of a famous sister
While everyone knows the mighty dam in Solina, only a few kilometres downstream from the San River there is its smaller and older sister – the Myczkowce Dam. Although it doesn't tower as impressively, it plays an equally important role, regulating the water flow released from the Solina reservoir.

The dam holds back water to create the picturesque, calm Myczkowce reservoir. It's a real paradise for anglers thanks to its rich fish stocks, and the cycling path running along the shore is a favourite among cyclists and lovers of quiet, evening walks.
A worthwhile detour from Solina
If you're staying at West Cadillac Solina, a short trip to Myczkowce is an excellent complement to your sightseeing. It's just a few minutes by car, and the calm, green surroundings of the smaller reservoir provide a lovely contrast to the busy promenade by our dam.
